writing and reporting with depth and clarity

Looking for a writer to tell a story? I'd love to help you by providing you with some fresh copy!
Everyone has a story, they say. What's yours?
I'll give you mine. I'm an award-winning freelance journalist and a professional writer.
In the past 20 years, since graduating with honors from college with a degree in journalism, I've written everywhere from an intense press office in the power corridors of Washington, DC, to different cities and suburbs in Ohio's Rust Belt.
I've written award-winning feature articles for the acclaimed national Police Magazine and the popular Northeast Ohio Family Magazine (Cleveland, Akron, and Lake editions). I've also written articles and essays published in Cleveland Plain Dealer, New Jersey Family Magazine, Mahoning Valley Parent Magazine, WOW!Women on Writing, FundsForWriters.com, Potomac News-Manassas Journal Messenger, Inside ATF and other major law enforcement publications.
I've covered mainly family and societal issues, psychology, and law enforcement.
I've also written hundreds of speeches given by high-ranking officials, press releases and newsletter stories.
I've published essays in the anthologies Chocolate for a Teen's Soul (Kay Allenbaugh, Simon & Schuster) and Chicken Soup for the Soul: A Dog's Life (Simon & Schuster) and also Unsent Letters to Our Fathers.
I'd like to put my experience and journalism degree to work for you on an assignment basis.
